Thank you Rick and Donna for once again hosting the Kevin M. Moss Memorial Golf Tournament. As usual, we had an unbelievable day and our tournament raised thousands of dollars which will be donated to families suffering from cancer. We could not be as successful without your continued help and support. AGAIN, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!!!!!

Hey Rick , after our round couple of weeks ago I wrote a poem (don't laugh) post it or not I call it A WAMPANOAG FEBRUARY Pins silent sentinals frozen to the southwest. White flakes and white swans collide under the cludy sky. Canada geese bark at the wind - a cacaphony of sound and motion. And fairways, all seemingly rock and ice careem balls in unpredcitable directions.

As God gave us wool and gortex, our duty is to use His creations wisely. Swing away! Swing away! Spring comes soon ! Jeff

Love this place . . have been playing here for over 30 years and current conditions of fairways & greens best. Great job Rick & Serafim! Palmer River provides swans, heron, as well as the ever pesky Canada geese (we watch the little fluffy goslings change from week to week and feel like proud parents when they leave). Have seen fox, deer, coyotes, and other assorted critters as well. Downside . .cart paths leave a little to be desired and I encourage a few pot shots at the new water tanks next to the course(3rd tee).

me and my friend andrew play often at this course and love it the guy in the clubhouse is always friendly and the golf is always fun only downside is when it rained the day before the shady parts of the fairway tend to stay muddy for a while otherwise the most affordable and one of the best I've played so far keep it up man.

The original layout had the clubhouse (now part of the maintenance shed adjacent to the clubhouse) near rte6 and old #8 was actually #9 and old #9 was #1. As I recall, I was 3-4 yrs old, this was changed during the construction of the "new" clubhouse circa 1961 and then again changed to the current layout.

yes #8 was a great par 3 very tough hole but #9 made up for it by being a drivable par 4 but they were 2 great golf holes

Played here 3 times a week, every week, from 1984 to 1995...11 years or so...sometmies using a curled-up matchbook for a tee when the ground was frozen..yeah we played year round. Friday night quotas when it was still 90 degrees at 6:00. Conditions have improved but too bad we lost the holes across the street.. anybody remember #8?

I was just clicking the list of sponsors and benefactors for the Johnny Miller Memorial Golf Classic (http://www.tinamillergolf.com/ssp/johnmiller) and had to visit the Wampanoag page. Let me echo the sentiments of the previous post. Rick, Donna, and staff have done such a wonderful job restoring the atmosphere and open arms feeling, that I am sure my father, grandmother, and grandfather would be equally proud, as I am, to once again call Wampanoag home. Thank you.

I played in the 1st Annual Johnny Miller Memorial Golf Classic Saturday, June 21, 2008. I haven't played at Wampanoag for a while. Everyone at the course was gracious and friendly. We had a wonderful time! The beverage cart and hot dog girls were a great touch out on the greens they were great! The greens and flowers looked great. You can tell the Rick and Donna are putting a lot back into the course. Thank you for making my golf course so great again. See you soon.
